Oklahoma Art Guild Social events include:
member participation contests, seasonal social parties and get-acquainted
events.
Meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at City Arts
Center, 3000 Pershing Blvd., State Fair Grounds. Programs at these
meetings include: demonstrations, critiques and lectures by well known
local and national artists.

Gay Faulkenberry has been a force on the American art scene for more than two decades. Known for her impressionistic approach to color and light, she is renowned for plein-air paintings of urban and rural landscapes and for studio paintings of intimate still lifes, florals, and interiors.

Tuesdays
- Figure Drawing
Figure drawing sessions with live models are provided free for members
each Tuesday unless otherwise noted in the newsletter. No guests allowed.
Sessions are from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., City Arts Center. Beginning
in January 2010, the second Tuesday of each month will be a clothed
model with drawing instruction from Jim Cobb and be open to all members.
All other Tuesdays will be nude models and open to members over 18.

OAG Memorial Fund
OAG members are encouraged to
submit donations and information for the OAG Memorial Fund. The Memorial
Fund awards are made at the OAG Fall Members’ Show. The awards
go to encourage artists of the future who have entered the OAG Fall
Show.
