The Oklahoma Art
Guild (OAG) is a non-profit organization founded in 1954, with the
objective of creating, promoting and developing all forms of the visual
arts. The membership includes professionals, amateurs, art enthusiasts
and patrons of the visual arts.
Meetings, featuring
various mediums with live demonstrations, are held the third Monday of
each month at 7:00 p.m. at the City Arts Center, State Fair Grounds.
The Oklahoma Art Guild sponsors an annual Members’ Show in the
fall, a National Juried Show in the spring, workshops and field trips
and sends a monthly newsletter. A Figure Drawing session with a live
model is free to members each week. In addition, seasonal social events
allow members, spouses, and friends to gather in the spirit of
community.
