Member's Gallery: Mary Beth Goldberg Mary Beth Goldberger showed artistic ability and interest in high school. The most dramatic influence in her life was the instruction and friendship of Richard and Edith Goetz. Mary Beth started taking private instruction from such noted artists as Irene Haun, Laverne Walker, Mitsuno Reedy, O. Gail Poole, Harley Brown, Kevin Macpherson, Sherrie McGraw, David Leffel, Ted Goershner, Henri Henche as well as the Goetzes. "I have found that Pastels are the medium I use the best to express my artistic expression, however I learned to paint with oils and still like to use them also." Mary Beth uses not only pastels, and oils but charcoal drawing in figure studies. The love of art and science are the threads of the tapestry that make up the life of this artist.
