Member's Gallery: Theresa Cannady Theresa began her study of
art at Oklahoma City University. Later, after raising her family, she
furthered her art instruction at Citrus College in Azusa, CA. Along the
way, she continued to paint in both oil and watercolor. With the aid of
classes and workshops in California and Oklahoma, she has won awards in
local, regional, and national shows. Her works hang in private and
corporate collections across the country. Theresa maintains membership
in the Oklahoma Watercolor Association, Oklahoma Art Guild, and the
Edmond Art Association. Her works, primarily in transparent watercolor,
can currently be viewed at the Contemporary Art Gallery in Oklahoma
City, The Art Bin Gallery in Stillwater, OK, and the Southern Plains
Gallery in Norman, OK. Seeing the beauty in life around her, and wishing
to share with others keeps Theresa pursuing the joy of "making
art."
